Almost 2/3 of Poles working remotely pandemically feel the negative effects of home office. These are mainly stress, problems with healthy eating and decreased efficiency, according to the MultiSport Index 2020 study

What are the negative effects of remote working and learning?

Currently 40% of professionally active Poles work at home office. People who experience negative effects of working at home indicated in the MultiSport Index 2020 survey that the most frequent negative effects of working at home include too little contact with other people, blurring of boundaries between work and private life, increased stress, dietary problems (e.g. irregular meals) and reduced effectiveness. The effects of remote work are even more severe the more days we work outside the office. Among employees who are at home office at least three-four days a week, as many as 74% suffer negative consequences.

According to the MultiSport Index 2020 study, as many as 79% of physically active Poles declare that regular physical activity improves their mood and efficiency at work. 4 out of 10 employees have also found sport a way to relieve stress related to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result 3/4 of them do not intend to give up physical activity regardless of how the epidemiological situation will develop.
