1. Clover with ribbon

A clover tied with a ribbon is a great idea for a DIY birthday invitation. To make such an invitation, you will need:

  • colored technical paper,
  • glue,
  • ribbon,
  • invitation text printed on card stock.

Method of making:

  1. Draw a square with a side of 10 cm on bristol.
  2. For each side of the square draw a semicircle.
  3. Bend all sides of the square as shown in the photo.
  4. Paste in the square previously printed invitation text.
  5. Fold the semicircular sides to the center.
  6. Tie with a ribbon.

  4. On top of the strings stick the balloons.

  6. In the center of the card paste the invitation.

5. Invitation with stars

An invitation with stars is very impressive and simple to make. To make it you will need

  • sheets of technical block, size A5,
  • glue,
  • scissors,
  • ribbon,
  • printed invitation text,
  • decorative stars stickers.

Method of making:

  1. Fold the card in half.
  2. On the cover of the card along the entire length of stick a ribbon.
  3. On the ribbon stick the stars.

6. Invitation with decorative ribbon

The DIY invitation with a decorative ribbon is very simple and quick to make. To make such an invitation you will need:

  • a sheet of A5 technical block,
  • a thin ribbon,
  • a hole punch,
  • pre-printed invitation text.

Method of making:

  1. Fold the card in half.
  2. In the middle of the card make holes.
  3. In the middle of the card paste the text of the invitation.
  4. Tie the card with a ribbon.

7. Button invitation

The button invitation is an idea for an interesting invitation. To make it you will need

  • sheets of technical paper, size A5,
  • large buttons,
  • string,
  • magician glue or hot glue gun,
  • previously made bow from a thin ribbon,
  • pre-printed invitation text.


  1. Fold a sheet of technical block in half.
  2. On the cover of the page glue strings.
  3. On top of the strings glue buttons.
  4. At the bottom of the strings glue previously made a small bow.
  5. Paste your greetings in the center of the invitation.
