Having your documents lost or stolen are some of the worst situations that can happen to us on vacation and completely ruin them. However, there are ways to protect yourself from this and minimize the likelihood of losing them.

How to safely store documents on vacation?

It is always best to keep all the most important documents such as ID, passport, airline tickets or boarding passes close at hand. Pouches and small wallets that hang around the neck or kidneys are perfect for this purpose. You can buy special flat models that are not visible under clothing. When traveling abroad it is good to have at least 2 identity cards. Then you can have one with you at all times, and just in case, leave the other in the hotel, hidden in a suitcase or a special safe in the room. Avoid keeping everything in one place! Don’t keep large sums of money with your documents either. It is also worth thinking about making copies of your documents, then you can decide whether you take the originals or copies with you on your visit.
