In the case of homemade dough, it is best to freeze it immediately after kneading and forming it into a ball ready for one portion. You can either put it in a container and close it tightly or put it in a plastic bag, from which you should remove the air before putting it in the freezer.

How to defrost pizza dough?

Homemade dough needs about 12 hours to defrost, so it’s a good idea to take it out of the freezer overnight. When defrosting, it’s best to keep the dough in the refrigerator, and it’s good to take it out ahead of time and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before preparing
